About The Event
Are you ready? Yeahhhhh bo!
Jemma Mae is a dance artist from Sheffield and has over 10 years of experience in the industry teaching choreographing, movement directing and performing in a wide variety of settings both in the UK and abroad.
Jemma started to practice Afro Fusion Dance 7 years ago, training and researching styles such as Azonto and Konto from primarily West Africa and across the continent as a whole. Jemma has had an interest in African music and art from a young age, and loves practicing and learning about the different African dance styles from here in the UK and from her travels abroad. Alongside Afro Fusion, Jemma practices other styles such as Dancehall, hip Hop and Contemporary, and loves to share her passion with others as much as possible!
Education: Jemma has a degree in Dance, with a PG Cert in Physical theatre, plus a PGCE in Secondary French.
Bring trainers to start with and skates are optional.
