We are delighted to have had such a fantastic year supporting the roller skate journey of so many people.  We hope that you will come and celebrate with us at the Ramgarhia Sikh Sports Centre with a roller disco, party games on skates.

What happens at a roller skate party?

Expect festive party games with roller disco favourite tunes in between.  Party games are designed to include as many people as would like to play and are always optional.  We will explain the game in advance and you can decide if you would like to play.

Quad and inline skaters are welcome.  We have a small amount of space for accompanying non-skating partners.

Will skate hire be available?

Yes, you will be able to hire our Rookie Artistic roller skates. Please make sure you book a separate skate hire ticket and tell us the size you need.  We will have protective pads available for you to borrow on a first come first served basis.

Will refreshments be available?

Yes.  A small Tuck shop to purchase snacks and drinks will available.

How do I find the venue?

The Ramgarhia Sikh Sports Centre is near Sheepscar Interchange on Chapeltown road. Drive in through the ornate gates and up the slope to the sports hall at the back of the site.  There is plenty of free parking outside the front of the sports centre. Bus stops are right outside the gate.

Please wait in the hallway outside the sports hall until invited in, as we will be finishing the earlier class.

Terms and Conditions of booking:

• This session is for age 14+ only.
• We will continue to follow government guidelines regarding social distancing.
• We suggest you wear a mask worn inside the sports centre and toilets. There is no need to wear a face mask in the main sports hall. Please continue to practise social distancing as you put your kit on.
• You authorise Roller Girl Gang to take photographs and video of the session to share on their website and social media. Please speak to instructors or marshalls at the session if you do not wish your image to be included.
• We assume you are well and there are no reasons you should not be roller skating.
• We are happy to refund tickets if you tell us by email more than 48 hours in advance of the class.  Please email skate@rollergirlgang.co.uk  We are not able to accept cancellations via social media DMs.
• If you require hire skates you *must* book a separate skate hire ticket. We are expecting our skate hire to be fully booked.
• All persons 17 years of age or under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• If we suspect you are intoxicated, we will not give you roller skates. If you have skates on, we will ask you to remove them. No refund will be given.
• Everyone will be required to sign a liability waiver on entry.

Do not attend OR participate in group/team sports or practice if:

• You are feeling ill. Symptoms of the coronavirus can include fever (temperature of 38C as defined by the CDC), cough, difficulty breathing, and other symptoms as outlined by the NHS website.
• If you have been exposed to COVID-19 in the prior 14 days.
• If unsure about whether to attend or participate in practice due to possible symptoms OR exposure, it is recommended you contact your health care provider.
