Street skating is suggested for skaters who are comfortable on slopes, hills and confident to stop.

Beginners or less experienced skaters are welcome at Sovereign Square, which is a pedestrianised zone next to the KPMG building and behind Leeds train station.

Whilst Roller Girl Gang team members who attend outdoor meetups will try and keep participants safe, all skating activities are at your own risk, as it would be if you were skating alone.

Outdoor meetups are not coaching sessions, they are social meetups and whilst RGG team members may give some skating advice, it is purely at their discretion.

Participants must ensure they are both well enough to skate and have the skills to skate in the location where the meetup is being held.

If at any point you do not feel able to skate to the required standard, we recommend you remove your skates.  This action is at your discretion and you must not rely on a team member to tell you to do so.
