It's time we had some fun!  

Join us to spice up your life at our first roller skate party in 2021!

There will be a mix of tunes from 90s pop, through R'n'B, soul, disco and probably a bit of rock, rap and rave too!

What happens at a roller skate party?

It is a roller disco, but at the Corn Exchange, it feels more like a party!

We will be skating on the ground floor wooden floor, so get your favourite sequinny garments and dust off your boots!

Quad and inline skaters are welcome.  We have a small amount of space for accompanying non-skating partners.

Will skate hire be available?

Yes, you will be able to hire our Rookie Artistic roller skates. Please make sure you book a ticket and tell us the size you need.  We will have protective pads available for you to borrow on a first come first served basis.

Will refreshments be available?

Yes.  Both OWT Leeds and Food Cabaret will be open serving a range of snacks and drinks.

How are you staying COVID secure?

A maximum of 6 tickets can be booked for your group. 

We take safety seriously, as we do with all events and classes we run. We collect your contact information when you book, so we can contact you if we learn of a positive case of COVID at our event.  The will allow you to take a Lateral Flow test and isolate if required.

Roller skating is a naturally socially distanced activity, as we need room to move. Additionally, we have kept our numbers even lower than before the pandemic.

We have staggered our entry times to allow you room to complete our waivers.  We ask everyone to complete a paper waiver rather than an online one, in case you sell on your ticket. Thank you for your patience.

We have conducted a full risk assessment and COVID risk assessment before deciding we are happy to run this event.

Terms and Conditions of booking: 

*We will allow refunds if you change your mind up to 48 hours from the date of the event.  You must email us skate@rollergirlgang.co.uk and tell us you'd like to cancel your ticket.

*We will also allow you to privately sell on your ticket if you realise you are not able to attend, please tell us so we can alter the name on the ticket. 

*If you require hire skates you *must* book a separate skate hire ticket. We are expecting our skate hire to be fully booked. 

*If we suspect you are intoxicated, we will not give you roller skates. If you have skates on, we will ask you to remove them. No refund will be given. 

*The Corn Exchange is a beautiful historic venue. Please respect it! 

*Absolutely NO SKATES on the stairs. The toilet facilities are located on the balcony level and you must remove roller skates before accessing them. 

*Everyone will be required to sign a liability waiver on entry.
