The sun is coming out and the summer holidays are not far away. RGG has lots of fun events coming up this year which are suitable for all ages.
Family Friendly Learn 'n' Roll
Our family friendly Learn 'n' Roll is the perfect way to have a casual skate with the whole family. We offer a mini rink space for those confident skaters and a 'slow moving' area for working on new skills. Our skate instructors will be on hand to help you out to provide you with tips and lead the games.

Summer Skate Picnic
Our annual Summer Skate Picnic is our biggest family event of the year. With lots of areas of smooth tarmac completely fenced in, it is the perfect spot to come for a family skate. Bring along your own picnic, with grass areas throughout the track, there are plenty of spots to relax al fresco. There will be activities and workshops led by both the shop team and skate instructors, both for with your skates on or off! Look out on social media for more information as we share our workshop timetables. Although this event is for roller skating, children are welcome to use other small wheels including; children's bikes, scooters (excluding e-scooters), trikes, skate boards and roller blades. If you require skate hire, please ensure this is pre-booked.
As the weather is likely to get hot, we'd recommend bringing any items you may need to stay safe in the sun, such as sun cream, water, hats, derby ice towels and sun glasses. There are toilets on site, as well as an area for refilling water bottles. Our pop-up shop will also be there selling skate products and cold soft drinks.
