This is a follow-on class for more confident skaters and will introduce artistic jumps and spins. Think figure skating on wheels!

If the word 'jump' concerns you, do not fear! Emma and Sarah are used to supporting skaters to smash their jumping goals but you’ll need to be able to confidently skate forwards, backwards and stop quickly to join us for this class.

Learn to transition on one leg in an artistic three turn transition.

We’ll learn how to spin on two feet building up to a one foot spin and learn techniques to spin faster and smoother, without feeling dizzy.

There are a huge variety of jumps in artistic roller skating, you’ll learn to bunny hop, jump on two feet, jump a 180 all leading up to waltz jump by the end of the class - if we’re smashing it, we’ll even try a toe loop! Don’t worry they will not be teaching us a triple axel.

Emma and Sarah have over 30 years of roller skating experience between them, including artistic competitions!
