You can hire up to 50 pairs of skates in a variety of popular UK shoe sizes, from Junior UK 8 to Adult UK 15.
When booking hire skates, if you are unsure of the exact size requirements, you can indicate "adults / youth group / Key Stage 1 age children" and we can help guide you.
Protective equipment- including helmets and protective pad sets - carries a small additional cost of £2 per set or £2 per helmet. We can suggest a range of sizes to complement your chosen skate sizes if you are unsure.
You are able to choose how long you require skates for - either 72 hours or 1 week. Please note late charges are incurred for late return of equipment. Insurance of our skates is not included for your party or event. We strongly recommend that you purchase or investigate your insurance needs before purchasing skate hire.
Collection / Drop Off
Skate Hire skates will need to be collected from and returned to The Skate Sanctuary at Mabgate Mills. Parking is available at The Skate Sanctuary for collection / drop off. Your order will be packed into boxes or bags suitable for transportation. Depending on the size of your order, we can advise about the size of boxes. We are unable to accept any liability for damage caused to your vehicle when loading, unloading or in transit. You are responsible for ensuring the skates are anchored securely.
Delivery to Mainland UK
We are now able to offer delivery and collection with our delivery partner, DHL.
All delivery estimates will be given once we know your order, as prices change according to the weight and volume of packages.
For example, 10 pairs of size UK2 skates will be much cheaper to send than 10 pairs of size UK10 skates.
Protective pads and helmets will carry an additional delivery cost as they are bulky.
In order to provide a quote we need to know your requirements in advance.
It is possible to delivery to areas of the UK beyond the mainland, this is subject to our delivery partner coverage.
Payment

A £50 refundable deposit is required per 10 pairs of skates hired. The deposit will be taken at the same time as the booking is made and refunded once the skates are returned and satisfactorily checked back into our stock by Roller Gang staff. Should equipment be returned late or damaged, the appropriate fee will be deducted. Please see link below for our late / lost / damaged skates fee structure.
72 - hour hire
Up to 10 pairs = £120 (inc VAT) + £50 refundable deposit
11 - 20 pairs = £180 (inc VAT)+ £100 refundable deposit
21 - 30 pairs = £240 (inc VAT)+ £150 refundable deposit
31 - 40 pairs = £300 (inc VAT) + £200 refundable deposit
41 - 50 pairs = £360 (inc VAT)+ £250 refundable deposit
7 - day hire
£16.80 per pair of skates per week (inc VAT) + refundable deposit of £50 per 10 pairs of skates. That's only £2.40 per day!
